SoundWaves Network SW Early Years Music training is coming to Somerset.
Date: Monday 18 September 2023
Time: 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Venue: Draycott & Rodney Stoke C of E First School, Draycott, Cheddar
Led by Take Art’s Early Years Music team Jane Parker with Eliza Wylie, this training will support participants to:
- Gain skills in developing very young children’s musicality through appropriate rhymes and simple songs
- Help think about the role of music within all areas of EYFS, particularly communication and personal, social and emotional development.
- Observe young children’s spontaneous music making and reflect on the role of the adult
- Help practitioners overcome their fears of engaging in and leading music activities in a safe supportive space.
