The Royal Marines, Lympstone are visiting The Castle School, Taunton, on Tuesday 21 November for a workshop day, culminating in an afternoon concert for year 7 and 8 cohorts.
Fresh from being centre stage during the coronation of HM King Charles III, the world-famous Corps of Drums take centre stage, combining ceremonial tradition with a varied programme of entertaining concert band music across the modern genres.
The day workshop is open for all Brass, Woodwind, Percussion, Strings, Guitar and Keys, grade 3 approx. and above. Workshops will develop ensemble skills of a prepared piece of music (Selections from The Greatest Showman arranged by Paul Murtha – YouTube).
